Nepal is a country of contrasts with ancient cities, Himalayan villages, colorful cultures, exciting festivals, and amazing landscapes. Through this internship, you will get a chance to photograph the Nepalese culture and people’s way of life, all the while developing your photography skills both creatively and technically. Some of the things that you might document in your pictures include traditional festivals, the market, rural settings, architecture, landscape, animals, food, and the amazing interactions that define the unique culture of Nepal.

You will be provided with practical advice by collaborating with other experienced staff members within the local team throughout the whole duration of the program. There is an opportunity to learn how to make photos, tell stories through images, compose a picture, choose photos, edit them and document your own experience. If it is possible according to your interests and program’s schedule, you will be able to travel around Nepal and create your diverse photo portfolio.

This is a perfect internship combining professional training and immersion into the culture. You will be able to communicate with local people, learn their traditions, visit places off the beaten path and understand more about Nepal while doing your own photo projects.
