In Alfa Reizen, our International Internship Programs are meant to give students, graduates, and professionals international exposure through placements all over the world. Although our ultimate goal is to provide internship programs in various international locations, our current programs only include placements in Nepal, where the interns will be able to build on their professional skills while helping in community-based sustainability programs.

Our internships cover various areas such as medicine, education, social work, community development, environment conservation, business, among others. Each program combines both practical and cultural experiences for the intern to enhance his/her skill levels and expand his/her global view at the same time.

As interns collaborate with local professionals and organizations, they have the opportunity to gain practical experience in realistic settings while also building cross-cultural communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Our internships are individually tailored for each participant in accordance with their academic background, professional aspirations, interests, and learning needs.

Alfa Reizen’s International Internship Programs run all year round with flexible lengths to fit individual schedules. Interns get constant assistance during the program period and, upon successful completion, receive a Certificate of Completion. In case participants would like to immerse themselves in the culture more deeply, we encourage doing some preparatory language and cultural orientation prior to the internship.
