Itinerary
Welcome to Nepal! On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll receive a warm welcome and then will be transferred from there to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. While on the way to the hotel, you’ll be able to see some of the most famous places in Kathmandu like Pashupatinath Temple, Narayanhiti Palace Museum, and Garden of Dreams.
The hotel is based in the lively Thamel area of Kathmandu, the most popular tourist destination in Kathmandu known for its lively markets full of cafes, restaurants, craft shops, trekking stores, etc. You can spend time in the busy markets of Thamel after getting checked into the hotel.

Your journey today starts with a wonderful mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, which is an entry point into the Everest region and is known to have one of the most fascinating mountain airstrips in the world. The aerial sightseeing experience on your flight is sure to leave you mesmerized with the Himalayan range and its magnificent snow-capped mountains, along with the famous Mount Everest on clear days.
Once at Lukla, you will instantly feel the change in the mountain atmosphere and high altitude levels. After having some rest, take time to visit the charming mountain village and its colorful teahouses, trekking lodges, shops, and the Sherpa communities there. Lukla is the main departure point for all trekking trips in the Everest region and thus the perfect place to start your adventure.

From Lukla, you will begin your trekking along Dudh Koshi (Milky River) and you will see it flowing till the horizon. You will trek through rhododendron forest and it will have a scent of evergreen oak trees. The sight of snowy mountain peaks will indicate that the trek is about to become tougher for you and marks the start of an adventure that will challenge your body and mind.
You will climb up to see the snow-fed rivers and finally reach Mongo crossing the suspension bridge and passing through many Buddhist stupas. In the evenings, you will be able to walk around in Manjo village.

The journey starts with an easy stroll through the beautiful mountain landscapes with marked trails near the Dudh Koshi River. By crossing several suspension bridges adorned with colorful prayer flags, you will find yourself surrounded by traditional Sherpa villages, agricultural terraces, and dense pine forests while slowly increasing in altitude. Eventually, you will be blessed with your first awe-inspiring view of the mighty Mt. Everest.
On your first day, you will reach Namche Bazaar, which is the most dynamic and active town in the entire Khumbu valley. Nestled amidst magnificent mountain landscapes, Namche features plenty of cafes, bakeries, restaurants, trekking shops, hotels, banks, and even internet services.

Today will be used for acclimatization, an integral part of the Everest Base Camp Trek, which will help to adapt your body to increasing altitude. Not sitting idle, you can do a short excursion to the nearest viewpoint and enjoy wonderful views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse, and many other snow-covered peaks of the Himalayan chain.
Back in Namche Bazaar, you will have enough time to explore this picturesque mountain village. Visit the shops offering various trekking equipment and souvenirs made by local hands, spend some time at a local café or bakery, and see the Sherpa Museum, where you can learn more about the culture, history, and mountain climbing traditions of the region of Mount Everest.
Enjoy typical food of the region, consisting of butter tea and tsampa – roasted flour of barley, eaten by the locals for centuries. In case you come on a Saturday, pay attention to Namche’s market, where traders from the neighboring villages meet and sell their fresh vegetables, handmade goods, clothes, and household things.

The today’s walk takes us through the picturesque section of the journey from Namche Bazaar – one of the lively towns on the way to Everest Base Camp – to the tranquil village of Tengboche, which offers amazing views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse and Thamserku from the hills above, followed by descent into the Dudh Koshi river valley and steady climb through rhododendron and pine forests.
Though climbing up to Tengboche will be harder because of higher altitude, we’ll certainly get what we paid for. At Tengboche, we will be welcomed by breathtaking views of the Himalayas and impressive Tengboche Monastery, which is known as the biggest and most significant Buddhist monastery in Khumbu region.

The trekking trail today will take you from Tengboche to Dingboche via an incredible section of the Everest Base Camp Trek route that offers stunning mountain views. You will trek past rhododendron forest, cross through streams and pass through the valley of Imja Khola all while enjoying spectacular views of the majestic Himalayan mountain peaks.
During the course of your trek today, you will stop at the historic Sherpa village of Pangboche which is one of the oldest villages in the region and renowned for its Buddhist culture and ancient monastery. As you trek further along in the alpine terrain you will have the opportunity to view one of the world’s most spectacular mountain views of the legendary mountain peak known as Ama Dablam which is considered one of the most stunning mountains in the entire Himalaya region.

The trekking today involves moving from Dingboche to Lobuche, which will take you into the stunning scenery of the high mountains of the Khumbu region. You will be hiking up through the wide valleys of the alpine scenery before getting to Thukla, from where you will have to hike to the Everest Memorial, which is a tribute site for climbers and Sherpas who died at Mount Everest.
Once you have explored the memorial site and admired the amazing view of the surrounding mountains, the path will lead you through rough terrain to Lobuche. This is an amazing mountain settlement located under the majestic mountains of the Everest region, which also boasts beautiful views of the Khumbu Glacier.

Your journey today involves hiking from Lobuche to Gorakshep, the last stop on your route to reach Everest Base Camp. As you start climbing in elevation, the terrain changes and becomes more and more challenging as rocky paths, glaciers, and expanses replace the forests that were previously seen along the way. The scenery will become more and more impressive as you are surrounded by Himalayan peaks and the beautiful Khumbu Glacier.
After arriving at Gorakshep and taking a short break, you will continue on your journey to the famous Everest Base Camp. Being able to stand at the foot of the highest peak in the world is quite an achievement with such amazing views of the Khumbu Icefall and snow-covered mountains. Returning to Gorakshep, those with sufficient energy will be able to visit Kala Patthar, which is undoubtedly one of the best viewpoints in the region of Everest, where you can enjoy watching the sun setting over Mount Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, and many other majestic Himalayas. You will spend tonight at Gorakshep.

Get an early start today for one of the highlights of your entire Everest Base Camp Trek experience. Starting off before dawn, you will hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 m), the highest vantage point on the trek, from where you will be able to enjoy an amazing view of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Lhotse and other nearby Himalayan summits, as the rising sun casts its light over the snowy Himalayan peaks.
After hiking down back to Gorakshep for breakfast, it is time for the long-awaited trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m). Hiking along the Khumbu Glacier through challenging glacier terrain, you will finally reach the base camp of the climbers climbing to the top of Mount Everest. Enjoy this impressive experience, take photos of the impressive Khumbu Icefall, and rest in Gorakshep.

The route for today takes us back to Namche Bazaar, following the beautiful tracks through the middle of the Khumbu region. Through the alpine environment, we shall visit the cute Sherpa villages, cross the suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi river and stroll in the serene forests filled with pine trees, fir trees, and rhododendrons. The descent will provide us an easy going route, giving us new perspectives of the majestic Himalayan landscape.
Along the trekking track, we will have the opportunity to witness stunning views of the magnificent Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and many more snow capped peaks, provided the weather conditions are favorable. Along the trail, we will come across the colorful prayer flags, mani walls and prayer wheels, which will give us an insight of the cultural heritage of the region. We will reach back at Namche Bazaar by afternoon, where we will spend some time exploring this amazing mountain village.

The walk today is the last walking day of the Everest Base Camp Trek, as you will be trekking down from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. There are some lovely forests, traditional Sherpa villages, and river valleys along the way, with many suspension bridges across the Dudh Koshi River. During the course of your trek today, there will be many prayer flags, mani stones, and mountain scenery to see as you recall the incredible experience you had trekking through the Himalayan range.
After enjoying a leisurely lunch stop in one of the villages that dot the route, you will continue to follow the river through rhododendron, pine, and fir forests to Lukla. Upon arrival at Lukla, you will relax and have the opportunity to celebrate the successful end of your trek with your companions.

After breakfast, you’ll board a scenic mountain flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu, enjoying one final opportunity to admire the spectacular Himalayan landscapes from above. Flight schedules in the Everest region are weather-dependent, so departure times may vary to ensure safe flying conditions.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where the remainder of the day is free to relax at your leisure. You may choose to unwind after your trekking adventure, explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, shop for souvenirs, or simply reflect on the unforgettable memories and achievements of your Everest Base Camp Trek.

Your unforgettable journey in Nepal comes to an end today. After breakfast, you will be transferred by private vehicle to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, arriving approximately three hours before your scheduled departure. This allows ample time to complete check-in and other airport formalities before your flight.

- Assistant Guide: An additional assistant guide will accompany the group if there are more than seven participants.

Price Excludes
Visa fees are not included. You can easily obtain a tourist visa upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Current fees are USD 30 for a 15-day visa, USD 50 for a 30-day visa, and USD 125 for a 90-day visa.
All drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as hot drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate) and cold drinks, are not included throughout the trip.Meals in Kathmandu also not included.
